On 13th September Daniel Cros presents his seventh album, “Aquello era entonces, esto es ahora” (That Was Then, This Is Now), at the Taehwa River Spring Jazz Festival in Ulsan, South Korea. Barcelona singer-songwriter Daniel Cros, the stage name of Daniel Hernández-Cros, is also a pianist, arranger and producer and he has released seven solo discs and a compilation of his best numbers. The composer incorporates rhythms such as son, bolero and cha-cha-cha into his songs.
Flamenco cantaor Duquende’s group to play at the Plai Festival in Timisoara, Romania
On 13th September Flamenco cantaor Duquende’s group, featuring guitarist Chicuelo and Isaac Vigueras on percussion, is billed to play at the Plai Festival in Timisoara, an important musical date in world music in Romania. The Plai Festival is a music festival that lasts three days and is held every year in the second week in September, in Timisoara, Romania. It is organized by the Muzeul Satului Bănăţean, an open-air ethnographical museum. Apart from music, the festival promotes art and multiculturalism through a wide range of activities.
Els Berros de la Cort at the Ingolstädter Herzogsfest in Ingolstadt, Germany
Mediaeval Catalan music comes on 26 July to the Ingolstädter Herzogsfest, Germany, with Els Berros de la Cort. The group, who have been together for fifteen years, will be giving two concerts on the second day of the festival, which attracts a wide range of performers every year.
The Orquestra de Cadaqués at the Auditorio de San Lorenzo del Escorial
The Orquestra de Cadaqués will be paying tribute to the late Paco de Lucía at a concert at the Auditorio de San Lorenzo del Escorial on 12 July. The performance will also feature the Catalan flamenco singer Ginesa Ortega and the guitarist Juan Manuel Cañizares.

The Barcelona group Extraperlo will be at the next Schilling Festival in the city of Tartu, Estonia, performing on the main stage on Saturday 5 July. The pop band will be playing their repertoire of innovative sounds and stimulating rhythms at one of the main musical events of this Baltic country.
