Desert have not had time to be "the best kept secret in Barcelona." With just two songs his name began to spread among blogs of half the world. England, Belgium, United States, Germany, Canada ... talked about Cocteau Twins, Laurel Halo, Broadcast and Beach House, songs that sound like a swirl of synths and pop melodies. In few months became one of the strongest promises of Catalan music scene and his name was part of every list of "the nouvel band" of the year.
The group consists Cristina Checa and Eloi Caballé and are currently preparing their next release. Until then, we can continue enjoying them live and listening to the new life of Camins and Desert in the hands of some of the best national electronic artists like Marc Piñol, Aster, Afika Pseudobruitisimus and Lasers.
