The trio formed by Javier Colina, Marc Miralta and Perico Sambeat is the union of three outstanding figures on the Spanish jazz scene. They made their recording debut in March 2007 at the Terrassa Jazz Festival. Since then, the group has been unstoppable, performing at cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Burgos, Huesca, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Montevideo and Buenos Aires. The album Colina Miralta Sambeat Trio was nominated as best jazz recording at the 2008 Music Prizes, whilst their second release, Andando, is a CD full of passion and creativity that fuses such styles as bop, Latin and flamenco.
