This validation of legal representation does not initiate any procedure nor is it mandatory.
Any legal entity not resident in Spain that wishes to carry out procedures with the Institut Ramon Llull may complete this prior check to ensure that the accredited legal representation is correct.
The person holding legal representation must identify themselves with their Digital Certificate or IdCAT Mòbil and, subsequently:
- Complete the form details
- State the subject Accreditation of Legal Representation and select the area to which the application is addressed (the area to which the subsequent procedure pertains)
- Provide the authorisation details
- Attach the documents relating to legal representation: notarial powers, deeds, identification of the person holding legal representation (passport, etc.)
Once the request has been submitted, IRL staff will assess it and inform you whether the legal representation presented is valid or not.
