Faber Andorra is an individual residence in La Massana, a natural setting that is perfect for concentrating and disconnecting from the daily grind. We provide a fully equipped apartment with a work space, 30m² fine and dramatic arts workshop if the resident needs it, and a €60 per day stipend to cover meals. The Institut Ramon Llull supports great classical music orchestras and ensembles to promote extraordinary Catalan talent internationally. In the coming months, they will perform in some of the major cities in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Chile, Greece, the Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, Italy and Belgium, among others.

The Minister of Culture, Natàlia Garriga, visited the exhibition accompanied by the director of the Institut Ramon Llull, Pere Almeda, the artist Carlos Casas and the curator, Filipa Ramos. The inauguration featured a performance by the composer Marina Herlop.

The revolutionary legacy of Catalan psychiatrist Francesc Tosquelles is showcased in New York

The American Folk Art Museum will exhibit the legacy of Francesc Tosquelles and his ground-breaking therapeutic, political and cultural practices from 12 April to 18 August. The exhibition, which is supported by the Institut Ramon Llull, is accompanied by a publication and a programme of public events. The psychiatrist saw theatre, cinema, art and writing as fundamental therapeutic tools.

The Institut Ramon Llull presents Bestiari, the project by Carlos Casas and Filipa Ramos at Biennale Arte 2024

The audiovisual installation, which features sounds and images of creatures that inhabit the countryside and imaginary landscapes of Catalonia, will open on April 18th in Venice and will be available for viewing until November 24th.

Children, mothers and siblings looking for one another, others not knowing they exist or believed to be dead, and others that will never be able to find one another. Thousands of cases of stolen children in Spain took place between the late thirties and early nineties. Newborn babies were stolen from single or undesirable mothers. They were told that their babies were dead, while being sold to pro-Franco Regime ‘model’ or favorable families.
