Non-competitive and in-kind grants for international residencies at centres where Institut Ramon Llull has a collaboration agreement

OBJECT

 

Awarding of in-kind grants for creators in the Catalan artistic culture arena who have been selected to take part in an international residency at a centre where Institut Ramon Llull has a collaboration agreement.

The international residency programmes are in charge of holding open calls and choosing residents.

The international residencies hosted by the centres Institut Ramon Llull has collaboration agreements with must be listed on the call.

The grant-funded activities must be carried out within the period established in the call

GRANTEES

Individuals who are creators in the Catalan artistic culture arena and have been selected to take part in an international residency hosted by a centre where Institut Ramon Llull has a collaboration agreement are eligible for these grants.

Applicants must meet the requirements and conditions established in the guidelines.

Application 

 

All applications must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Proof of having been selected by the host centre to take part in the international residency the grant application pertains to.
  • Work plan for the residency.

    Eligible expenses

    Only expenditures arising from the services the host centre provides the grant recipient during the residency are eligible expenses, including the following:

    • Accommodations for the international residency.
    • Living expenses during the residency.
    • Cost of organising the international residency, meaning those related to the activities programmed specifically for the resident, including activities like networking events, tours, meet-ups or public readings.

    SUBMISSION APPLICATIONS

    The application process will be available through the Institut Ramon Llull virtual office during the period of applications of the call

    a) For Spanish applicants: electronically using the Institut Ramon Llull applicable signature system.

    b) Foreign applicants must identify themselves in the Virtual Office with a username and password, as per the Institut Ramon Llull e-signature and identification policy, with the idCAT Mòbil certificate or, for residents of the European Union, a digital certificate.

    Through the request of an accreditation, the Institut Ramon Llull will generate the certification and send it to non-resident foreign citizens securely after having verified their identification documentation. The certification will be valid for five years starting from the submission date of the documentation that certifies the identity of the interested party unless any changes arise. Once the applicant has received their certification, they may complete the grant application.

    Please take into account that you should request your accreditation at least 72 hours before the application deadline.

    RESOLUTION AND APPEALS

    The Director of the Ramon Llull Institute will make a decision within a maximum period of six months from the date of the publication of the call.

    If the maximum period has elapsed without a final decision of the procedure being issued and notified, applicants may consider their applications rejected due to administrative silence.

    The decision does not exhaust the administrative process. An appeal can be filed with the head of the Department of Culture within one month from the date of publication.
