The programme seeks to strengthen ties between Catalonia and Germany through programming, residencies and reciprocal professional exchanges.It forms part of the initiative CirC – Catalan Circus International Rings within the Catalan Department of Culture's Second Circus Promotion Plan 2023-2026 and the Catalan Association of Circus Professionals (APCC).

This meeting of the literary translation network will take place from 3 to 5 June in the city of Lillehammer and will bring together 15 European cultural institutes

They are Alba Noguera Arbós, Manuel Baixauli, Jordi Puntí, Júlia Sentís, Eduard Olesti, Antònia Roig and Anna Ferrer.

The announcement was made this afternoon in Turin at a press conference featuring speeches by the fair's President, Silvio Viale, and Director of the Institut Ramon Llull, Anna Guitart. The Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino (Turin International Book Fair) is Italy's leading publishing event and one of Europe's most prominent book fairs, attracting over 230,000 visitors.

The Minister of Culture, Sònia Hernández, presided over today's opening, accompanied by the Director of the Institut Ramon Llull, Anna Guitart. The exhibition is part of the Eventi Collaterali of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, and is curated by Elise Lammer. It will remain open to the public until 22 November.

The fair, the leading event in the sector, takes place from 13 to 16 April. The Catalan stand forms part of the Department of Culture’s ongoing efforts to promote Catalan literature and drive the internationalisation of the publishing sector.

The Catalan Minister of Culture, Sònia Hernández, will attend the opening of the exhibition, curated by Elise Lammer.

An expert jury convened by the Institut Ramon Llull has selected the project to represent Catalonia at Europe's leading stage design event.

From March 21 to July 5, The Phillips Collection museum will present the exhibition on the decisive influence of the United States on the artistic development of the Catalan painter, which was previously on view in Barcelona.

Institut Ramon Llull is organizing the 25th edition of its fellowship targeted at international publishers and agents and to be held in Barcelona during the 44th edition of the Setmana del Llibre en Català (Books in Catalan Week). First launched in 2007, when the Catalan Culture was Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Since then, over 220 professionals from 45 countries have participated in this fellowship.

From 10 to 12 March, the Department of Culture hosted a stand to drive the internationalisation of Catalan literature and the literary sector. Twenty-six Catalan publishers (eight more than in the previous edition) took part in this major annual event. In addition, ten literary agencies participated in the International Rights Centre at the fair.

The Institut Ramon Llull brings Catalan cinema to Berlin, Mexico City, Chile, Rabat and Washington.

Supported by the Institut Ramon Llull, the Catalan singer will perform a special concert to coincide with International Women's Day. The event will also mark the 30-year career of the Empordà-born artist.

Adrià Lahuerta from production company 15L Films will be a visiting professor at New York University, while academic and writer Yairen Jerez will deliver a seminar on Catalan-Cuban studies at the Mercè Rodoreda Chair at the City University of New York.

On 20, 21 and 22 February, they will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's Missa Solemnis with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The Catalan musician will receive the award, worth €250,000, on 23 May in Munich, Germany. This recognition from the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation follows a tribute this year by the Berlin Philharmonic, which has dedicated part of its season to Savall's music and where he made his debut as a guest conductor.
