An entertaining novel that treats the falling in love of a teenager with a special look at things. It is not clear whether Biel has down’s syndrome or an autism spectrum, but what could seem a liability is turned into a virtue. Biel is 15 years old and wants a partner like all his friends. Then, he meets Sònia, her neighbour, who is also the young host of a cooking show, and the events escalate. A novel that stands out for the well-knitted psychology of the characters, who show a wide range of complex emotions inherent to teenagers. A novel that deals with disability and difference while avoiding victimisation.
