Elisenda Solsona (Olesa de Montserrat, 1984) is a writer and secondary school teacher with degrees in Humanities, Audiovisual Communication and Screenwriting. She also studied writing at Sala Beckett and the Ateneu de Barcelona. Her book of short stories Satèl·lits won the 2020 Imperdibles Prize for best fantasy book in Catalan and the 2020 Ictineu Prize for best short story in Catalan. She also contributed to the anthology Autòctones (Comanegra, 2023) and to The Valancourt Book of World Horror Stories (Valancourt, 2020) with the short story ‘Mecanismes’.
