Toni Sans (Barcelona, 1976) earned a degree in the Dramatic Arts. He is a founding member of the EGOS theatre company. He combines acting, directing and playwriting with writing books for children and young adults. En Benjamí i el semàfor que mai no es posava verd (winner of the 2016 Guillem Cifre de Colonya Prize) is his first novel, which he co-wrote with Rubèn Montañá, following the success of their playwriting partnership.
