Carles Sala i Vila (Girona, 1974) a teacher by profession is now a full-time writer of children’s stories. His publishing career started in 2008, and since then he has published more than 40 books. Two of his stories have been selected for the White Ravens in 2012 and 2019. He has won the Barcanova prize twice and the Folch i Torres award, most recently in 2021 for his latest book, Captain Luke.
