Valentí Gubianas (Navàs, 1969). Having worked in a host of different fields, he discovered illustration during his studies at Escola Massana in Barcelona. He then started illustrating children’s books, picture books, textbooks and websites. With a growing need for more space to draw, he decided to work on murals in schools, in libraries and on façades, as well as on live shows. He combines his book illustrating and mural painting activities with visiting schools, where he learns a lot from his direct contact with readers.
