Mal Pelo performs at the Montreal Agora de la danse

Directed by Pep Ramis and María Muñoz and with support from the Institut Ramon Llull, the Mal Pelo company will present “The Mountain, the Truth & the Paradise” at the Agora de la danse in Montreal from November 21-24. The performances are part of the “Culture Catalane" cycle, which will take place between September 2018 and July 2019 at performing arts venues across Montreal and Saguenay and aims to promote Catalan cultural activities.

The Institut Ramon Llull brings Catalan flamenco to the Netherlands

The Dutch Flamenco Biennial, which takes place between 19th January and 3rd February, will host Focus Catalunya, with the collaboration of the Institut Ramon Llull (IRL). The Dutch Biennial, which is now in its fourth edition, is one of the most important flamenco festivals in the world, and the IRL will bring Catalan musicians, singers and dancers to it, affirming the creative output of the genre in Catalonia.
