Le Tendre Amour will be performing “La barca di Venetia per Padova” in Vilnius

The ensemble Le Tendre Amour, based in Barcelona, will be in Vilnius to perform the opera “La barca di Venetia per Padova”. The production can be seen on 29 December as part of the Banchetto Musicale Festival, held each year in the capital of Lithuania. Adrián Schvartzein directs the work, and they will be joined by the Brevis Choir & Consort. The Catalan group has performed all around the world and has had enormous success with its whole repertory.

Hèctor Parra presents the opera ‘Das geopferte Leben’ at the 2014 Munich Biennial

The composer Hèctor Parra will be presenting the first performance, at the 2014 Munich Biennial, of the Baroque opera ‘Das geopferte Leben’ (The sacrificed life) with a libretto by the French writer Marie N’Diaye. The work presents a version of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and will be having its first performance on 20 May, which means that it will be closing the Biennial. The Pansori Flamenco Project makes its debut in South Korea

The Pansori Flamenco Project is the result of the collaboration between traditional Korean group Jeong Ga Ak Hoe, guitarist Marta Robles and Flamenco singer Alba Carmona. This collaboration has been included in the Cheoyong Culture Festival in South Korea, which this year has a special bill featuring three Catalan groups. The performance will be on 4th October.
