Toni Galmés (Manacor, 1983) holds a degree in Fine Arts and a doctorate in History of Art. His oeuvre draws heavily on cinema and comics, as well as nineteenth and twentieth-century illustration. He has provided artwork for all manner of children’s books, from illustrated collections to comics and novels. Among other awards, he received the 2024 Còmic Barcelona prize for Best Children’s Comic for Molly Wind, written by Catalina González Vilar (Astronave). He is currently involved in work on illustrated collections, series and comics for some of the most renowned publishers both nationally and internationally.
