Marc Pastor is unique in Catalan literature for his embrace of a variety of genres, time periods and locations, while always building on his highly particular multiverse. Winner of the inaugural Crims de Tinta Prize for his widely translated La mala dona (The Mean Women), he recently had his first film adaptation of him with L'any de la plaga (The Year of the Plague). He works as a criminologist for the Catalan Police.
