Marta Orriols (Sabadell, 1975) began her literary career in 2016 with a collection of short stories, and followed it up two years later with Learning to Talk to Plants, which won the Òmnium Prize for best novel of the year, and was translated into sixteen languages, including English, French, Italian, Chinese, and Arabic.
