Fiction
After a major upheaval —or rather, two— Carla needs to piece her life back together, reconnect with what truly matters and start the healing process. To achieve this, she must journey deep within herself and far beyond to a series of islands that offer her a fresh perspective on life. Remote, out-of-reach, tragic, mythical or human-made, these islands ultimately reflect part of who we are. All the while, Carla is trying to raise two young children and live her life with the people she loves: her partner Òscar, her best friend Nora, and Mr Feliu, who has always been like a grandfather to her.
In the thick of a not-always-nice everyday routine, Carla takes a step back and writes a heartfelt, confessional text to better understand how she got to this point and what she wants going forward.
