"A magical series starring Liana, a water maiden with enchanted hair, who will protect the forest from the dangers that lurk within"

Liana has just turned eight and, like all water maidens, it’s time for her to become a guardian of the forest. This means she must leave the Great Lake, where all her friends live, and travel alone to her new home: the Silent Pool. Once there, she’ll have to make new friends like the Dragonfly, the Grumpy Otters, the Owl and Mel the Deer. With the help of the Old Oak, she’ll learn all sorts of new things. She’ll also discover her own magical powers and how to use them to protect the Mysterious Forest from the dangers that threaten it. No humans live in the forest, but is everyone who they say they are?
