Borja Bagunyà

Borja Bagunyà (Barcelona, 1982) has a PhD in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature and is a lecturer in literary theory, editor of the magazine Carn de Cap, and author of three short story collections, which earned him both a Mercè Rodoreda and a QWERTY award in 2006. Angles morts [Dead Angles] is his first novel, nominated for the Òmnium and Finestres awards, winner of the Critics Prize for Catalan Fiction Writers 2022, and included in many best-of-the-year lists. In 2016 he founded Escola Bloom with Lana Bastasic, and currently, he is a member of the Comparative Literature Research Group in the European Intellectual Space.
