Ester Pino Estivill (Barcelona, 1980) holds a Doctorate in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature from the Universitat de Barcelona. She has taught literature at various secondary and higher education institutions in Barcelona, Lyon and Paris. She is currently an Associate Professor of Literary Studies at the Universitat de Barcelona and an Associate Professor in the Master of Humanities at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Her main fields of study are the poetics of modernity and the circulation and uses of literary theory, subjects on which she has published several articles in specialist journals. She gives seminars on literary theory at the Bloom School and serves on the editorial boards of 452ºF. Revista de Teoria de la Literatura i Literatura Comparada and Revue Roland Barthes.
