Luisa Vera

Luisa Vera was born in Elda, Alicante. In 1985, she completed her Fine Arts studies in Valencia and went to New York where she attended the School of Visual Arts. Since 1990, she has focused her work on illustration. Her pieces have been featured in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Dallas Morning News, Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune, La Vanguardia and El País, and her characters have sported their finest clothes on book covers, posters, catalogs, children’s stories and at exhibitions. She has been living in Barcelona since 2002.
