Laura Llevadot (Barcelona, 1970) is a senior lecturer of Contemporary Philosophy at the University of Barcelona. Her research focuses on contemporary thought, particularly French poststructuralism, with a strong emphasis on figures such as Jacques Derrida and Søren Kierkegaard. She founded and directed the first two iterations of the Barcelona Pensa Philosophy Festival and led the Pensament Polític Postfundacional essay series at Gedisa, for which she wrote the volume ‘Jacques Derrida: Democràcia i sobirania’ (2019).
