Carlota Gurt

Carlota Gurt (Barcelona, 1976) is a writer and translator. From 1998 to 2010 she worked as a production manager in the performing arts industry before moving into translation, where she’s been for the past fifteen years. She’s the author of the novel Alone and the short story collections Cavalcarem tota la nit (winner of the Mercè Rodoreda Prize) and Biografia del foc (2023). The Theory of Holes is her first children's book.
