Ingrid Guardiola (Girona, 1980) holds a PhD in Humanities from Pompeu Fabra University. She is an essayist, audiovisual creator and cultural researcher. Her work in cultural institutions and university teaching has focused on the interplay between culture, technology and society, paying particular attention to issues of inequality and gender. She has served on various cultural advisory bodies and was director of Bòlit, Girona’s Centre for Contemporary Art, from 2021 to 2025—a role she combined with regular media contributions and teaching on the Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Communication at the University of Girona’s Faculty of Arts.
