Application of the LOPD (data protection law)

The data available in the virtual office are subject to the provisions of the Data Protection Law (LOPD) with respect to files in public ownership.

Data regarding grant applications

In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, concerning the protection of personal data, the data provided by a citizen will become part of a digital file used for the administrative procedures employed by the IRL to manage the grants which it awards, monitor the corresponding administrative procedures and send information to interested parties. He or she may address him- or herself to the Management of the IRL (Diagonal, 373, 08008, Barcelona), the unit responsible for this file, to exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition with respect to personal data.

Registry data

In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, concerning the protection of personal data, data concerning a citizen will be incorporated into and treated in a file known as the document reception and issue register, whose purpose is to store information that verifies the presentation of documents before the public administration.

The unit responsible for this file is the Directorate General for Service to the Public and Communication. Interested parties may exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in writing, addressed to the aforementioned Directorate General (Via Laietana, 14, 3º, 08003 Barcelona).
