Children’s and YA : Middle Grade Fiction
This is the story of Klaus and his father, who works for the local council doing all sorts of jobs, including filling potholes in the road. But one morning a huge hole appears, so deep that even fifteen sacks of earth won’t be enough to cover it. Determined to solve the mystery, the two venture inside. What follows is an adventure that teaches them that life and human beings are wonderfully imperfect. As the very first line of the book puts it: “Without holes, there would be nothing.”
