Alba Dedeu (Granollers, 1984) studied Medicine, although she now devotes her time to literary translation from English and Italian. With her first book, Cats in the Park (2011), she won the Mercè Rodoreda Prize for short stories and the Crítica Serra d’Or Prize. In 2012, she published Summer Never Ends, a second collection of short stories that was very well received by critics and the public alike. The Conformist is her first novel.
