Alejandro Palomas (Barcelona, 1967) holds a degree in English Philology and a Master’s in Poetics from the New College in San Francisco. He combines incursions into journalism with literary translation. Among his novels are El tiempo del corazón (Fnac New Talent Award), Tanta vida, El secreto de los Hoffman (finalist for the 2008 Torrevieja Fiction Prize and adapted for the stage in 2009), El alma del mundo (finalist for the 2011 Primavera Prize) and El tiempo que nos une. A son won him the National Literature Prize in the juvenile category. His work has been translated into twelve languages.
