Glàfira Smith studied film in Edinburgh and moved to Barcelona, where she continued her career as a producer and creative director. In 2020, she published her first comic, Secrets de mare. In 2021, she received an honorable mention at the Ara Còmic Award with Camuflatge. In 2022, she won the same award with her story Els homes són llops, a play that deals with gender violence through family memories and offers data on sexual violence.
