Sebastià Alzamora

Sebastià Alzamora (Llucmajor, Majorca, 1972) is a writer, literary critic and cultural manager. He has a degree in Catalan Philology and combines his literary work with academic activity and cultural management. He is a member of the Catalan Studies Institute since 2020. He is the author of more than a dozen books, both poetry and narrative, which have earned him such prestigious awards as the Documenta, the Josep Pla, the Serra d’Or and the Sant Jordi Prizes. His previous novel Rabies earned him the Omnium Prize for Best novel in 2022.
