Ricard Ruiz Garzón (Barcelona, 1973) is an author, columnist and writing teacher at the Ateneu Barcelonès and the Master’s in Publishing at the UPF. He won the 2017 Edebé Prize for La Immortal, the 2016 Ramon Muntaner Prize for Herba negra and the 2006 Miradas Award for Las voces del laberinto, among others. Between 1996 and 2016, he worked as a journalist and literary critic for the most important outlets both in the printed press and on television.
