Òscar Julve (Barcelona, 1972) is a renowned Catalan illustrator. He holds a Fine Arts degree from the University of Barcelona and has won over 20 prizes, among them, the Junceda and the Lola Anglada awards. His recognisable characters, with their big teeth and spindly legs, have captivated and delighted younger audiences. As well as collaborating with other authors, he has produced solo work, including El Nico i els dinos. His output is full of humour, caricature and fantasy, and offers a fresh and innovative twist on comic book illustration.
