Meritxell Blay (Montbrió del Camp, 1977) holds a degree in Classical Philology from the Universitat de Barcelona and a PhD in Hispanic and Romance Studies from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). She combines her teaching with her work as a researcher attached to the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC), as well as directing the Association of Classics Teachers of Catalonia.
