Marina Abràmova was born in Moscow. She studied at Lomonosov State University in Moscow, where she received her doctorate in Romance Philology (1986) with a thesis on Tirant lo Blanc (1986). In 1979 she began working at the same university teaching Catalan Literature and Literary Theory and History of the West, and later participated in several seminars on literary translation from Catalan to Russian. Since 1989 she has been a member of the Catalan Language Writers Association. As a specialist in Catalan literature, and especially in Tirant lo Blanc, she has participated in numerous conferences and symposia at various universities in Russia and Catalonia, among others. We should also highlight her work as a disseminator of Catalan culture in Russia with books such as: Foc i roses. Collection of 20th century Catalan poetry (1981), The Catalan culture of yesterday and today (1997) and the monograph Our word will resonate: little-studied works of French and Catalan literature of the 20th century. XIII-XVI (2018).

As a translator she has incorporated into the Russian language the poetry of Miquel Martí i Pol, the novel El mar by Blai Bonet, Tirant lo Blanc by Joanot Martorell (together with P.Skobtsev and G.Denissenko) and L'illa de Maians by Quim Monzó. In 2015 she published the novel by Jaume Cabré Jo confesso (Ed. Azbooka), co-translated with E. Guixina and A. Urjúmtseva.

She has also collaborated on several occasions with the radio station Ekho Moskvi ("The Echo of Moscow") as a broadcaster of Catalan culture. Since 2019, Marina Abràmova has been an honorary member of the Catalan Language Writers Association (EFTA).

Sam Abrams was born in Beckley, West Virginia, USA, in 1952. Damià Alou was born in Palma de Mallorca in 1959 and lives in Barcelona since 1977. Fábio Aristimunho Vargas was born in Ponta Pora, Brazil, in 1977. Marc Audí (Barcelona, ​​1979) is a professor at the Université Bordeaux Montaigne.
