The Institut Ramon Llull promotes and supports the organisation of academic and cultural activities (conferences, lectures, seminars, concerts, cultural weeks, etc.) at universities abroad.
These activities aim to raise the visibility and impact of Catalan Studies at universities, and focus on expanding the knowledge of, and research on, Catalan language, literature and culture, thus helping to improve the quality of Catalan Studies and to raise awareness of Catalan language and culture abroad.
The types of activities are varied and consistent with the lines of research and the academic and informational activities organised by every department offering Catalan Studies.
