The Llull Fellowship aims to provide its participants with a more in-depth perspective on Catalan literature as well as to build networks among Catalan and international publishing professionals.

The IRL invites 9 Fiction publishers/agents and 9 children’s and YA’s books publishers/agents. The programme offers a customized schedule of professional 30’ meetings with Catalan publishers and agents selected in accordance with the participant’s catalogues and interests; introductory sessions on Catalan literature; an overview of the Catalan literary publishing world; informal meetings with writers, illustrators and translators; visits to emblematic bookstores, an illustration school, and to other outstanding cultural sites.

The IRL will cover accommodation and all the costs related to the program (travel to Barcelona not included).

We will announce the 18 participants at the end of May / beginning of June.
