With dexterity and sensitivity at the service of art, Los Escultores del Aire's mission is to make the spectator vibrate and breathe to the rhythm of their shows through the universal language of gesture. Since its creation, one of its most important objectives has been to weave an international network of synergies between groups that share the same values.

For the fifth consecutive year Los Sculptors of the Air return to Jersey City, sharing the night with Costa Rican company Danza Abend.

In co-production with the Jersey City Theater Center, both companies will showcase a collage of solos, duets and trios in an event titled AN EVENING OF ENTWINED POEMS (multicultural international dance theater show).

About the companies:

Los Escultores del Aire is an international company based in Barcelona that mixes different performing arts such as dance and mime. Founded in 2014, the company has seven shows in repertoire and a notable international tour and awards.

Each body has stories to tell. Los Escultores del Aire offers a space for a meeting and an exchange that lives and breathes between the performer and the spectator.

Danza Abend is an independent dance group founded in Costa Rica in 1983. Danza Abend is a concept of its founder and creator Cristina Gigirey, who was a fundamental pillar of dance in Costa Rica, not only as a teacher but also as a choreographer and dancer.
