With a career of more than 35 years with sound as his artistic field, Vicens Vacca (Granollers, 1954) began with contemporary art experimenting with sound in the margins of conceptual art. From his beginnings, sound has never been an additional complement but a corporeal element with plastic attributes, which materialises within action space as a sculptural object. The uniqueness of Vacca’s work prevents him to militate in any space or period niche, which gives his trajectory an overwhelming corpulence.

With Just, Dig and Love&Psyche, he shows a selection of works from different periods, as well as a new piece, a reflection on how time affects love and psyche. The exhibition is part of the Catalan Culture Spotlight, the focus on Catalan culture in the UK that opened last April at the London Book Fair, ending in July.
