First residency: Cinema Connecta
The Cinema Lliure-Connecta Residency, supported by the Ramon Llull Institute and Faberllull, aims to provide a space in which to learn about cinema, in terms of both technical and artistic aspects as well as working methods.
Every day, residents will be given a master class by professionals from the different disciplines in the sector. At the end of the residency, participants will have the chance to present a collective and solid proposal for a short film in the form of a dossier* produced by the residents based on everything they have learned from the professionals and with the assistance of the residency coordinators.
From the short film proposals received, the coordinators will choose a minimum of four. There will be a total of 8 residents. The proposals will be presented on the first day of the Connecta Residency. A discussion and debate will ensue in which residents will pick two proposals to be worked on during the residency in two groups of four people. On the last day of the Residency, all residents will present their projects in front of professionals in order to receive feedback and advice.
