WHAT IS FABERLLULL?
faberllull Olot is a joint project of the Olot City Countil and Institut Ramon Llull. The first residency was held in September 2016 and, since then, more than 350 professionals from all over the world have been at faberllull. It has hold activities (conferences, gattherings, panel discussions, seminars, workshops, etc.) in Olot and all over Catalonia: at secondary schools, cultural centers, libraries, companies and universities.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
faberllull Olot covers accommodations and half board (breakfast and dinner) for residents. A fully equipped kitchen is also available for anyone who wants to cook their own lunch.
faberllull Olot doesn’t cover travel expenses or the obligatory medical insurance. There is no stipend offered either.
WHERE IS IT?
faberllull Olot is located at the Hotel Riu Fluvià, Olot. It features large, bright rooms with Wi-Fi, and a common area where residents can work and share their projects, as well as a conference room for activities geared towards the general public or institutions.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Any professional with a project in one of the following lines of work or thought:
-Contribution and innovation
-Interdisciplinarity
-Talent and excellence
-Internationalisation and cultural diplomacy
-Social and cultural return
faberllull is launching a call for projects:
That involve a group of no more than 10 people with a diverse background in terms of education, country of origin, age, sex, etc. with at least one resident in a Catalan-speaking area.
That can be carried out in a maximum of 14 days.
That deal with a key topic of contemporary debate (past residences have included religious beliefs, feminisms, educational innovation, diversity policies, cultural institutions, etc.) More examples are available on faberllull.cat
That include a proposal for at least two activities already agreed on with contacts in Catalonia to be carried out during the residency.
