Ponten Pie presents the show Loo in Lörrach

Performing.  Lörrach, 23/01/2018

The Catalan company Ponten Pie will be at the Burghof Theatre in Lörrach, Germany, on 23rd January to perform Loo, a show designed for an audience aged from two to five that is about the power of the wind.

Besides being the name of a hot dry wind that blows on summer afternoons in India, Loo is the name of the leading character in this show. Loo’s mission is to push the desert dunes and devastate the wetlands, seas and oceans that he encounters in his path, leaving ships stranded in the sand. The show, addressed to children aged between two and five, reflects on desertification in a poetic and visual way, in which the young spectators will enjoy a sensory experience.

Ponten Pie was created as a personal space by actor Sergi Ots to develop an artistic creation that would be distinguished by an unusual performance and staging, endeavouring to reach the audience through its direct participation in the story. The style of his projects, which combine different artist disciplines, has been defined as one of the most important new theatrical languages on the contemporary artistic scene.

The performance experiments with the proximity of the theatre and feelings in an emotional way
