This year the Incanti Festival in Turin, devoted to object theatre, has programmed the Chapertons and Besllum companies. The Incanti Festival programmes all kinds of theatre which do not come into the catalogue of author or prose drama. This year it is being held from 3 to 9 October.

The Balearic company Besllum will be giving the first performance of their new show Lumimic on Friday 6 October in the large hall at the Casa del Teatro. Besllum is a performing arts company engaged in the investigation and  creation of shows related to light. They were launched in Mallorca in 2011 and since then they have investigated and developed new forms of expression through light.

Lumimic has been created ad hoc for INCANTI 2017 from the collaboration of the festival with the Institut Ramon Llull. It is a work about music and light, investigation and experimentation by the two groups, who have created it at a distance: the Besllum Visual Art company from Mallorca and the Turin rock band ZYP. The synergy between two different cultures becomes an interactive journey through an enigmatic universe of light, shadows and sound frequencies, where poetry and sound touch hands and hearts.

The Balearic company Besllum will present their second show Goma Gom on Sunday 8 October at the Casa del Teatro.  It is comical and visionary and suitable for all audiences and uses tyres as the great protagonists.

These performances have the support of the Institut Ramon Llull.
