The period of pre-enrolment for the examinations for certification in Catalan opens

On Monday, 25th September, the pre-enrolment period opens for obtaining the Institut Ramon Llull’s Catalan language certificates corresponding to the second sitting this year, a period that will end on 18th October 2017.


The IRL certificates make it possible to certify the level of knowledge of the Catalan language for academic and work purposes (public administration, companies, institutions), and they are structured in five levels in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The places where the second sitting will be held, which can be consulted in a pdf document, are as follows: Asunción, Buenos Aires, Guadalajara (Mexico), La Plata, Mendoza, Osaka, Rosario, Santiago de Chile, Sao Paulo and Tokyo.  The basic and elementary level examinations will be held on 11th November, intermediate on the 18th, and proficiency on the 25th.

 

The results of this second sitting can be consulted on 2nd February 2018. The results of the first sitting are available as from 22nd September on the website.

 

This year it is 15 years since the first Institut Ramon Llull examinations. Between 2003 and 2016, more than 14,000 people enrolled for the examinations held in 120 cities in 40 countries around the world.
