LXII Anglo-Catalan Annual Conference

The LXII annual conference will be held at the University of Leeds from 11 to 13 November 2016.The programme covers a wide diversity of topics including history, literature, linguistics and sociology whose common denominator is the Catalan dimension. The Joan Gili Memorial Lecture this year is presented by literary critic and historian Enric Bou. Writer Teresa Solana, academic and critic Maria Delgado and poet Manuel Forcano will also take part in the conference.

In the frame of the conference, the University of Leeds hosts the exhibition The Ineffable Truth: The Book of the Lover and the Beloved by Ramon Llull produced by the Institut Ramon Llull on the occasion of the Ramon Llull Year. The exhibition will be also presented at the University of Birmingham from 16 to 30 November and at Queen Mary University of London from 2 to14 December as part of an international tour including universities in France, Germany and the UK.
