Amparo Sánchez’s European tour: Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Belgium in twelve days

Amparo Sánchez, the former vocalist with the band Amparanoia and the winner of the 2005 BBC Music Award, is touring Central Europe, doing a total of nine concerts. The representative of the Barcelona mestizo musical movement is presenting her third solo album, Espíritu del Sol.




Doing almost one concert per day, Amparo Sánchez starts her tour in Bern (Switzerland) on 25th October; she then goes to Austria to sing in Wels, on the 26th, and Vienna on the 27th. The tour continues in Germany, with concerts in Darmstadt, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Leipzig and Cologne, and ends in Belgium, where the last concert will be in Tournai on 5th November.

With the tour, she is showcasing her latest work, Espíritu del Sol, in Central Europe. As with her other albums, the new songs are imbued with her passion for bolero, rumba and even some Argentinean rhythms. In it she also expresses her firm belief in the importance of the role of women in society.
