Laia Serret wins the 2nd “El català pel món” prize

Laia Serret Prunera, a teacher of Catalan literature at the University of Szeged (Hungary), has won the 2nd edition of the “El català pel món” literary prize. The prize is awarded by Godall Edicions for the best account by Catalan teachers abroad based on their own experience.




Catalan teachers become writers to tell us about their experience of teaching their language far from home. The panel of experts was made up of the writers and teachers Carme Ballús, Montserrat Lorente, Hermínia Mas, Mònica Miró and Isabel Clara-Simó.

In reward, the publishing house undertakes to publish the winning text and to award its writer €1,000.
