Ricard Mas will give a monographic lecture on Gaudí and modernism in Barcelona's pavilion. The talk will be of an informative nature, and it will enable closer examination of this European cultural movement through a look at the great Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The speaker is an art critic, researcher and curator. He received a BA in Art History in 1989 from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and has worked as a research assistant to Rafael Santos Torroella (1990-1997) and as the technical director of the Soler y Llach literature auction (1998-2001).
