China continues to position itself as a country of great strategic interest in the international projection of Catalan culture. On 21st March the Tianjin Art Museum inaugurated the largest retrospective of Josep M. Subirachs’s work that has been put on abroad since the artist’s death. This show comes after the success of Barcelona’s participation as guest city at the Beijing Design Week last September and the recent Chinese tour by the Escolania choir of Montserrat.
