Illustrator Oriol Malet offers us a profoundly affecting picture book, in a large format and wordless, featuring his five-year-old daughter Mariona. She is a little girl who’s very skilled with a paintbrush and draws a series of characters on the walls of their house, which her illustrator father turns into fun, harmless monsters. They are all inspired by different abstract artists, including Joan Miró, Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko.
